I used to be a journalist at the BBC, and it was a job I adored. I was bringing the news to the masses on the radio, had many fun experiences working in the ‘press’, and I have no doubt that one day I will return to do some of that work again. In this job, I was of course storytelling, but I was also connecting with people.

It took a lot for me to get there, a BA and an MA degree actually. I love to continually learn, so even though my educational life was a while ago, it feels like a part of my everyday life.

I decided though that despite my love of journalism (and the airwaves!) I wanted to pursue something else I love- travel.
So I took the skills I had being a journalist (and other previous job experience working in customer services, hospitality and catering during my teenage years) to virtual assistance.

Creating work-life balance for business owners

So, my life looks like this now: I help business owners take the stress off, completing a number of tasks for them, so they have more time to do other tasks within their workday, thus driving business growth.
Whilst doing this, I am able to work from wherever in the world I like, so long as I have secure wifi and my laptop.
And I’m able to learn from each client, about their differing industries and lives.
And with my help, you could do more of what I do!
